The National Urban Development Strategy (NUDS) is being handled by PT. Reka Spasia Indonesia as the Lead Firm and several associate members. NUDS has a contract with the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency (RIDA), Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) (Loan No. 8976-ID). The project duration is 13.5 months, with a value of IDR 19,869,414,000 and US$ 1,653,000, equivalent to IDR 47,143,914,000 (US$ 1 = IDR 16,500). It involves 6 international experts and 33 national experts. The National Urban Development Strategy (NUDS) is a national-level strategic study and a component of the NUDP (National Urban Development Program). NUDP is a program aimed at enhancing the capacity of the central and regional governments to implement urban settlement development based on global standards and regional agreements.
NUDS is a guideline for future urban development in Indonesia. The NUDS concept and approach focus on the basic needs for integrated urban infrastructure development. This NUDS study provides input for the formulation of urban development policies in the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and is expected to lead to the Smart Extended Integrated Urban Infrastructure Development Project (IUIDP), which adopts an integrated urban infrastructure development approach, taking into account the National Strategic Projects (NSPM) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that adhere to global city standards. The NUDS results also provide input for other NUDP component activities, namely studies related to Integrated City Planning (ICP).
