Improving of Spatial Planning and Land Use Management for Local Government (LMPDP)

As an overall reformation of the National Land Policy, the Government of Indonesia in cooperation with the World Bank has designed Land Management and Policy Development Project (LMPDP). The Project that financed by the International Bank Restructuring and Development (IBRD) and International Development Agency (IDA) under the administration of the World Bank is comprise of five different components. One of such components is National Land Policy Development, where National Development Agency (BAPPENAS) is as implementer. The objectives of this study are to improve the capability of local government in the utilization of the spatial planning for land use control. This study was also cinsidering several aspects such as good government practical principle. The target of this study is to implement harmonization of the local government. Therefore the local government capability  in spatial planning and land use management should be improved through the application of the Norm, Standard, Procedure and Manual.
