Project Management Support (PMS) for National Urban Development Project (NUDP)

Project Management Support for National Urban Development Project (PMS-NUDP) is handled by PT. Reka Spasia Indonesia as Lead Firm and several associate members. PMS-NUDP has a contract with Regional Infrastructure Development Agency (RIDA), Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) (Loan No. 8976-ID) with a project duration of 21 months, a value of Rp. 21,533,662,379 and US$ 2,431,991,- equivalent to Rp. 61,661,513,879 (1 US$ = Rp. 16,500) (involving 5 international experts and 25 national experts).

The NUDP-PMS is a component of NUDP responsible for supporting the CPMU in all NUDP implementations, including project planning, implementation, and management. More specifically, the PMS is expected to assist the government in achieving the predetermined Project Development Objective (PDO) and key performance indicators (KPIs).The National Urban Development Project (NUDP) itself is an Indonesian government initiative in collaboration with the World Bank to address urban challenges, such as urbanization, infrastructure gaps, and lack of coordination in urban planning. NUDP consists of four components, the implementation of which involves The National Development Planning Agency, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

The NUDP’s objectives are: 1) to realize Indonesian cities that play a role in accordance with their functions within the national urban system and the characteristics of their regions, to become viable, green, and smart cities that meet global standards. 2) is to improve the city’s capacity (institutional and human resources or HR) related to management and financing in infrastructure development with various alternative financing (creative financing).
