Scope of activity ”Preparation of Strategic Development Plan of Batam Area, Bintan and Karimun” is as follows : a). Preparation of development formulation of industry and services to support sustainability of resources (environment sustainability) of the area based on environmental physical bearing capacity. b). Preparation of strategic development plan in KEK Batam-Bintan-Karimun related to supporting infrastructure to the area (transportation, energy, raw water resources, waste etc.) those activities is expected to provide output such as follows; Potencial formulation, problems, opportunity and development chalenge of KEK Batam – Bintan – Karimun, that described based on each analyzed sector (physics, social, economy and environment); Formulation of ‘positioning’ Batam-Bintan-Karimun area in the context of regional and global economic activities; Formulation of basic consideration factors for development of the area; Formulation of strategy main items of infrastructure development of KEK Batam-Bintan-Karimun in a development system of the area; Formulation of development phase of area infrastructure; Formulation of important program of area infrastructure development, includes of information; type of activity, time, related institution and estimated financial resources.
